Each year SDHHS hosts 3 events that it uses to foster stronger relationships with the community, raise public awareness of hearing loss issues, and help build greater services for its members.
Annual General Meeting – This event provides members of SDHHS with a chance to come together and provide their discussion on current issues, strategies for the future, and allow them to reflect on the previous year’s events.
Youth Events – Is provided to help youth – with a hearing loss – develop leadership skills, and self-advocacy skills and strategies. It also allows youth to become engaged in social interaction and provides a sense of belonging.
Speech Reading – Do you want to learn to speech read to cope with your situations? Then come join us! Family members are welcome!
Soup Lunch Our soup lunches happen once a month at The building beside our Saskatoon office (Oddfellows and Rebekahs) from 11:30-1:30. The following dates have been planned for the 2016 year:

Steak Nights – The purpose of the Steak Nights are to raise funds to help support the services of the SDHHS. It is also an opportunity for a fun night of social interaction and fellowship.
