Two weeks notice is ideal if you require an interpreter on a specific date and time, however we will do our best to accommodate with less notice.
Interpreting assignments longer than 1.5 hours will be assessed to determine how many interpreters will be required in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards.
To book interpreting services please provide the following:
- date
- time and duration
- location address
- nature of the assignment
- full name(s) and contact information for confirmation
- full billing address, if applicable
What is the cost ?
There is a fee for service for most interpreting bookings. However; we do receive a subsidy from the Government of Saskatchewan which can, in some cases, keep costs down.
Pending availability of funds provided by The City of Regina and The City of Saskatoon, there may be free Interpreting services accessed for Sport, Culture and Recreational activities within Regina and Saskatoon. These free Interpreting services are made possible through the Community Granting Program which is funded by Saskatchewan Lotteries. Please contact SDHHS offices for more information.
The rates are $60.00/hr for interpreters (8:00-4:00) with a 1.5 hour minimum. After regular business hours and holidays are $70.00/hr with a 2 hour minimum.
Mileage is .42/km and travel time is compensated the same as our hourly rates.
